Zainah Anwar Collection

Zainah Anwar is one of the founders of Sisters in Islam and Musawah – a global movement for equality and justice of Muslim women’s rights, equality and freedom. She has previously worked as a journalist at the New Straits Times, Institute of Strategic and International Studies, and was a chief programme officer with the political affairs division of the Commonwealth Secretariat in London. This collection holds her articles and photography during her time as a journalist from the 1970s to the early 1980s.
