Scope and Content:
The collection consists of photographs of Wanita UMNO members, then known as Kaum Ibu UMNO (1947-1971), from the Pudu branch in Kuala Lumpur between the 1950s to 1970s. These photographs belong to the late Fatimah Haji Salleh, who is heavily featured in this collection during her active days in the UMNO women’s wing. She played a pertinent role in the organisation as a leader through teaching and guiding members in home management-related skills. This collection of 82 photographs showcases their activities and programs conducted by Wanita UMNO, such as home economics workshops, voter registration drives, meetings, and field trips across Peninsular Malaysia. To capture their involvement as a group, the collection is organised through a series of 9 themes outlined below.

Archival History:
All materials in this collection were generously loaned to MDA by Natasha Jalil, initiated by Chin Kar Yern in August 2025. They were subsequently digitised in September 2025 and launched online in November 2025.
